Samsung Galaxy series handsets are supposedly the best in business now in India. The only tough competition that the Galaxy line-up smartphones face now is the Nokia Lumia series handsets. But there is one other mobile manufacturing giant who is gradually progressing in terms of popularity and performance and it is none other than LG. LG’s Optimus series handsets are getting more popular and much appreciated each day.
One member of the LG Optimus series handsets became pretty famous, reaching a level that people are now expecting a successor to the particular handset. It is LG Optimus 3D we are speaking about. This 3D handset was a treat for 3D lovers and recently another surprising news came out that LG is almost done developing the successor of LG Optimus 3D.
However, till now LG hasn’t given any specific details about the new handset, especially what they are going to call the handset. However, the handset is referred to by two names significantly – LG Optimus 3D 2 and LG CX 2. But now, LG will most likely change the name to a more attractive one, which is believed to be LG 3D Max, as per the reports.
LG 3D Max or LG CX2 is almost ready and according to a few tipsters, the handset will be fully functional before it goes on display at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event, which is to be held next year. LG 3D Max definitely sounds better than LG CX2 and LG Optimus 3D 2 and reportedly the specifications will also be much better. It is LG’s style to name the greatest successor of a particular series of LG handsets with “Max” in it, for instance, remember LG Arena Max.
But in this one, it seems the word “Optimus” has also been removed. According to many reports, LG 3D Max is expected to feature better, enhanced primary camera and a processor with a bit higher clockspeed. The 1 GHz TI OMAP processor in the LG Optimus is now upgraded with 1.2 GHz clockspeed in the 3D Max. The 4.3 inch display is also expected to come with better resolution. Hopefully, LG will add an updated LG 3D user interface in the handset.
But what people are more concerned about than the 3D functionalities in a handset is its battery efficiency. They might wonder how long a 3D handset will work. Hopefully LG 3D Max will surprise us with good battery efficiency and impressive performance.
