While the smartphone market is already preoccupied with a plethora of launches, the handset vendors do not seem to rest. The manufacturers including local and international are constantly pushing in their products into the market going by the demands of the consumers.

Until now, both the entry-level and mid-range markets were completely haunted by Android operating system, but, Nokia has made an attempt to popularize the Windows Phone 8 platform by releasing Lumia 620, the cheapest WP8 smartphone launched ever. After much delays, Lumia 620 has been launched in India today at Rs 14,999.

However, the manufacturer has several stones to obstruct in the path in terms of popular Android smartphone offerings, the domestic vendors being a part of them. One of the popular India based vendors - Karbonn is also constantly pushing a variety of handsets into the market. The latest one from the company seems to be Retina A27, which has been spotted on Saholic at Rs 9,090.

Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and with such a low price tag, it seems like the dual SIM Karbonn smartphone could be a stiff competitor to the Windows Phone 8 based Lumia 620, as both the handsets have made their entry into the market at the same time.
