Lumia 920, 820 Coming to India this Thursday, Nokia Sends out Invite for January 10 Event
New Delhi is going to be the destination for yet another Nokia event, as this Thursday the Finnish phone maker will throw a sizzling party for the launch of Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 in the capital city for the official release of the Windows Phone 8 handsets in India.
Earlier, there were reports claiming that Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 will be launched in India officially in November, however, Nokia fans were not able to witness the handsets launch even by the end of 2012. However, now comes the good news Nokia fans, both the flagship smartphones Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 are going to hit the Indian stores, starting January 10, 2013.
The handset has already received lots of hype and rumors, related to all the hoopla created on its release date in India and nation wide Lumia 920 has become the most awaited Microsoft Windows smartphone of the year, even beating iPhone 5.
Speaking of Nokia's flagship smartphone Lumia 920, the handset packs a 4.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels along with PureMotion HD and ClearBlack display technologies.
The handset is equipped with an 8.7MP rear camera with PureView branding, 1.2MP front camera, 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, NFC connectivity and 2,000 mAh Li-ion battery. Further, the handset is packed with groundbreaking features including wireless charging and glove-friendly capacitive touchscreen display.
Coming to the Lumia 820, the handset features a 4.3 inch AMOLED ClearBlack capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixels. The handset has a 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, 8MP camera with the PureView technology, a VGA front camera video calling, NFC and 1,650 mAh Li-ion battery.
