Magicon has announced the launch of new it's smarphone UltraSmart Q50 Magnus. Reportedly the phone comes with a 5-point multi touch capacitive screen which is notable, as few models come with such a feature. The mid-range smartphone is priced at Rs 7,999 and could be considered under the list of decent specifications/low priced devices.
Magicon UltraSmart Q50 Magnus, which runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich comes with a 5.0 inch display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 2.0 mega pixel rear camera with 7x zoom, touch focus, auto flash, multi-shot and night mode, VGA front camera, expandable memory up to 32 GB and 1650 mAh battery. As for the connectivity features, the handset comes with Wi-Fi hotspot capability, EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, dual-SIM support and Micro-USB.
Moreover, the phone come pre-loaded with myplex - a mobile TV application which allows users to watch over 100 free and paid Indian channels, over 1000 videos and movies from an exhaustive library of Indian movies, NewsHunt is India's number one mobile newspaper app which offers 80 regional newspapers in 12 languages, along with the best jobs in India.
Jitendra Rahi, Executive Director, CONPLEX International says, "We gather market intelligence and put the same to use while sourcing phones. For example, one of the important feedbacks we received from customers and channel partners was that almost 50 per cent of smart phone users in India do not use any data plan (3G or GPRS) due to the cost involved, and yet want a big screen Android smart phone. Our Q50 Magnus would fit the bill for them."
