Kapil Sibal Launches Maxx MX100 Leader Feature Phone With 4,400 mAh Battery For Rs 1,932

Today, at the Telecom Exhibition '13 held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, Union Communication and IT Minister, Kapil Sibal along with State Communication and IT Ministers, Milind Deora and Kruparani Killi today launched the MX100 Leader mobile phone. Maxx Mobile says that the handset is particularly designed to cater to the rural Indian markets.

Maxx Mobile, which also deals with mobile accessories has priced the device leniently at Rs. 1,932. The MX100 Leader comes with a couple of major features that is indeed a need of the users based on rural areas. Two of the most impressive features are the long lasting battery life of 4400 mAh and LED torch. The battery is claimed to offer 3-4 days of usage to the user. Apart from that the device also is clad with sturdy exteriors.

The MX100 Leader also comes loaded with several other features like the dual SIM support, digital camera, Bluetooth, MP3/MP4 player, up to 16 GB expandable memory, FM Radio and GPRS.

Speaking on the occasion, Ajjay Agarwal, CMD and founder, Maxx Mobile said, "Mobile phones have become the most ubiquitous mode of communication today and have spread to almost every nook and corner of the country. However, most of the phones currently don't meet the unique requirements of the semi urban/ rural consumers, where electricity, dust etc. are key issues."
