Meizu MX3 Announced With 128GB Storage Capacity: A Big Threat To 5 Monster Phones

Chinese manufacturer has recently made their Meizu MX3 official and the phone has already occupied the gossip section because of its whooping 128GB internal storage capability. Moreover, looking at the specs of the new device it will directly come in contrast with the other most powerful smartphones in the world.

Here is a brief rundown on the specs of the handset:

Meizu MX3 comes packed with a 5.1-inch IPS display offering a resolution of 1800×1080pixel and pixel density of 415ppi. The device is powered by a monster Exynos 5410 Octa processor with 4 Cortex A7 at 1.2GHz and 4 Cortex A15 at 1.6GHz coupled with 2GB RAM. One can also find PowerVR SGX544 GPU supporting the system along with 128GB of storage capacity.

Meizu MX3 is said to be available in multiple variants viz. 16GB, 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.

When it comes to Operating System, Meizu MX3 runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2 along with the layering of Meizu's custom Flyme 3.0 skin. Moving on to camera, the phablet features 8MP rear shooter with 2MP front facing snapper. Moreover, the rear camera comes with a sapphire glass-protected lens, an f/2.0 aperture, and Fujitsu ISP. As far as the audio is concerned, Wolfson audio chip in integrated to the handset.

Of course, the smartphone includes connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and NFC. The device comes in GSM flavor. Eventually, the powerful handset is backed by a 2400mAh battery which would provide t lease 9 hours of 3G browsing time and 10 hours of WiFi browsing time.

One thing is clearly visible that, similar to Apple's iPhone, Meizu MX3 comes with single home button below the interface. Meizu further also announced that the MX3 would be available in a variety of colors like Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, Orange and more.

When it comes to pricing, report suggests that 16GB model would come at $410 (approx. Rs. 27,064) and $650 (approx. Rs. 42,906) for 128GB. However, the only problem with Meizu MX3 is that, it is rarely expected to sale outside China. In fact, there is no mention of the handset's global release so far.

Since the device features compelling specifications that matches with the high end handsets, it will surely have an impact on most of devices like HTC Butterfly S which is recently launched, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, LG Optimus G Pro, Apple iPhone 5, and Sony Xperia Z Ultra as well.

The smartphone comes packed with a 5-inch Super LCD 3 display offering a resolution of 1080p. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with a layer of HTC Sense 5.0 and BlinkFeed UI on the top. Further, the device is powered by quad core 1.9 GHz Snapdragon 600 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage (expandable storage via a microSD slot). Talking about camera, 4.3-mega pixel UltraPixel rear camera can be seen along with a 2.1MP front facing snapper. The camera also features HTC Zoe software. Connectivity options include: 3G, Wi-Fi, DLNA, NFC, and GPS, among others. Newly launched Butterfly S is powered by 3200mAh Li Ion battery. HTC has added two front dual speakers powered by HTC BoomSound and Beats Audio as expected.
The handset is currently selling at the price of Rs. 52,428.

The Galaxy Note 3 sports a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED panel featuring 386ppi. The device will ship in two variants. The first being a variant with a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 chipset and a second one that uses a 1.9GHz Exynos Octa-core SoC (most likely to come to India). Sharing the similar specs the massive phablet comes with 3GB RAM, 13MP rear shooter with smart stabilization and a 2MP front-facing shooter. The device runs on the latest iteration, Android Jelly Bean 4.3. Also, the device can shoot 4K video, which happens to be four times higher on quality when compared to HD. One can find the phablet in 32GB and 64GB model with microSD card slot for further expansion. As far as the connectivity is concerned there is a IR LED, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, MHL 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0. There's also LTE Cat4 support apart from quadband DC-HSPA+ 42Mbps and quadband GSM / EDGE. It is powered by a 3,200mAh removable battery.
The device is recently announced and there is no confirmation on the price and availability as of now.

Optimus G Pro is powered by a 1.7GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, Adreno 320 GPU along with a 2GB RAM, Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2, 16GB of internal memory that can be further expanded via microSD card up to 64GB. One can find a 13-mega pixel rear camera and 2.1-mega pixel front facing camera. Connectivity options include, 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC and a 3,140mAh removable battery. The handset is currently selling at the price of Rs. 32,999.

Priced at Rs. 42,999, iPhone 5 sports a 4 inch LED backlit IPS TFT capacitive touch screen with pixel density of 326ppi and multi-touch retina display screen and offers a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels.It is powered by Apple A6 dual-core 1.2 GHz processor which is backed by 1GB RAM and runs on Apple's very own OS, iOS 6 which is upgradable to iOS 6.1.3. The device comes in three variants- 16GB, 32GB, 64GB models and lacks microSD card slot. Regarding connectivity the iPhone 5 supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, 4G LTE, 3G and micro USB 2.0 support. It also features 8MP rear camera with iSight technology along with 1.2MP front camera for video calling and comes with a non-removable Li-Po 1440 mAh battery which is claimed to offer a talk time of 8 hours and standby of 225 hours.

It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 graphics and Qualcomm MSM8974 chipset along with a 2GB RAM. Xperia Z Ultra features 8 megapixels rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor and 2MP front-facing camera with 1080p video recording. After having a look at the specs of all the devices, one can easily notice that all are packed with equally powerful features and chips. However, talking about the processor, Meizu MX3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 are the only deivces that uses the monstrous Octa Core processors.
