Dimensions & Weight: While the weight and dimensions of A110 Canvas 2 has not been disclosed by the manufacturer, Optimus Vu carries a dimension of 139.6 x 90.4 x 8.5mm and weighs in at 168 grams.

Display: Both A110 Canvas 2 and Optimus Vu house a 5 inch display high clarity IPS display, however, the Micromax phablet comes with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, on the other hand, LG monster flaunts XGA IPS display with 1280 x 768 pixel resolution.

Further, the LG phablet also comes with a stylus for annotating documents, drawing sketches and making handwritten notes in LG"s Memo app.

Processor: A110 Canvas 2 is equipped with a 1GHz dual core processor with integrated GPU, and in this segment, LG Optimus Vu is sports a more poweful 1.5GHz quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor.

Operating System: Both the devices are flavored with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

Camera: In terms of camera Micromax A110 Canvas 2 packs a 8MP rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash and Optimus Vu also has an 8MP rear camera.

However, when it comes to front camera, A110 Canvas 2 has a 0.3MP VGA front camera while Optimus Vu has a front facing 1.3MP camera for video calling.

Memory: On the storage front, the Micromax successor phablet, Canvas 2 has 2GB internal memory and 512MB RAM. On the other hand, LG phablet has massive 32GB internal memory, 1GB RAM. However, both the offerings have a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage.

Connectivity: When it comes to connectivity, Canvas 2 houses all the basic 3G, Bluetooth, GPS with aGPS, USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi features.

When it comes to Optimus Vu, this one takes the edge with inclusion of NFC along with Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS and micro USB 2.0.

Battery: A110 Canvas 2 is loaded with a 2,000 mAh Li-ion battery, which offers 5 hours talk time and 180 hours standby.

Optimus Vu is loaded with a 2,080 mAh Li-ion battery, which provides 16.54 hours talk time in 2G and 14.99 hours talk time in 3G.

Verdict

LG Optimus Vu is clearly a clear winner when it comes to specs comparison with Micromax Canvas 2.

But when compared on the basis of price quotes, Micromax phablet is more affordable as compared to the LG mammoth. Hence, the choice of the device will completely depend on your budget and also the look and feel of the phablet.
