Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Now On Sale At Rs 12100: Low Screen Resolution Makes Rivals Happy

After throwing a number of Canvas series phone like Micromax A100 the first Canvas phone, Micromax A72 Canvas Viva, Micromax A110 Canvas 2, Micromax A116 Canvas HD, Micromax A115 Canvas 3D, Micromax A111 Canvas Doodle, Micromax A115 Canvas 3D, and Micromax A88 Canvas Music. Yet again it has come up with another beautiful creation that adds another piece to the Canvas series. Micromax has now officially listed the successor of Canvas 2 phone, the Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Plus on Infibeam and is available for Rs. 12,100. Micromax has offered the best phones to the Indian market and has sold more than a million units so far.

Talking about the specs, Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Plus has a much better, bigger and filled with enthralling features.

Display

The display is a 5-inch IPS panel, which would give great viewing angles. The handset has a resolution of 854 x 480. The low resolution will be even more obvious because of the giant display, since the handset has a very low pixel density of 195.93 ppi.

OS

The A110Q Canvas 2 Plus will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean right out of the box.

Cellular network

The A110Q Canvas 2 Plus has a dual-SIM functionality and supports GSM and 3G networks. One can use both SIMs simultaneously as well in this device.

The Micromax A110Q which is listed on Infibeam at Rs. 12,100 however has a competition to deal with. Considering the price and the specs it may have to stand against its brother device Micromax Canvas HD A116, Karbonn Titanium S5, Lava Xolo A1000, Zen Ultrafone 701 HD and Celkon A119Q Signature HD.

The device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform. Micromax Canvas sports an 8-mega pixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. It packs a 4GB of ROM and is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD. The device supports Wi-Fi, 3G, Dual SIM, and is powered by 2000mAh battery inside. The device currently carries a price of Rs. 14,499.

To compare this device with the A110Q, This device is different only because of the better display resolution. Everything remains the same between the two.

It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform and is powered by 2000mAh battery fitted inside. The device is listed at the price of Rs. 11,990.

To compare the device with the upcoming Micromax A110Q, this device also has the same camera MP on bothe back and front. Both have the same dual core processor and RAM. A110Q has the only disadvantage of having low screen resolution. Considering the price, A110Q again has a disadvantage.

To compare it with the other competitors, this device also falls in a similar price range. The dual SIM phone has the similar to other devices but has a resolution similar to Micromax Canvas HD A116 which is better than Micromax A110Q. Rs. 1,000 more for the resolution may sound a bit high but it should be a good deal.

The handset comes with pretty decent Memory specifications, including 1 GB RAM and 4 GB ROM and micro SD card slot. As for the battery, Zen Ultrafone 701 HD comes with 2000 mAh capacity, with standby time of about 240 hours and talktime of up to 8 hours.

This may be another safe choice to go with, with almost similar specs. This may have the upper hand with the advantage of its price at Rs. 11,999.

As for the connectivity features, the A119Q Signature HD supports 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and also comes with dual-SIM capability. The best part about the phone is, it is priced at Rs. 12,499.

To compare with its rivals, this phone has the best to offer at the given price. It outruns all the others with staggering 12 MP camera and fairly good screen resolution and a free flip cover worth Rs. 1,500 is another added advantage it has.
