Micromax A54 Smart 3.5 Spotted Online at Rs 4,659: A Big Threat to Lava Iris N350 Smartphone?

India based Micromax with a good record of Android smartphone launches seems to have unveiled another one to its product portfolio. Recently, the company was in news for an entry-level dual SIM smartphone A30 Smart 3.0, which was spotted online.

Now, Micromax has silently launched yet another entry-level dual SIM Android smartphone - A54 Smart 3.5. The handset has been spotted on online retailer site Infibeam at a price of Rs 4,659, while its MRP is listed as Rs 5,999.

A54 smarty 3.5- Potential Rival to Lava Iris N350?

As the Micromax offering has basic specifications being an entry-level smartphone, it can be a rival to the recently launched smartphones with similar aspects and price points.

One such smartphone launched in 2012 by Lava is Iris N350, which is priced at Rs 4,499 in India. When it comes to specs, Iris N350 features a standard 3.5 inch screen display size supporting an average resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, Android 2.3.6, 1GHz processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera for video calling and a 1,300 mAh battery.

Analyzing the specifications, it is evident that the Micromax A54 smarty 3.5with a better rear camera could be a rival to the Lava offering, which in turn as a front camera for video calling, which is lacking in A54 Smart 3.5.
