The Micromax Canvas Blaze MT500 comes in black and white colors and is priced at Rs. 10,999 (MOP). According to the partnership, MTS will offer 2 GB Data, 1000 minutes for MTS to MTS local calling and 120 minutes for other local and STD calls for a period of 6 months with the device.

Going by the specs, the handset comes with a 5-inch capacitive touch screen display offering a resolution of 480x 854 pixels. Powering the handset is a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with integrated EVDO and a GSM modem. It is coupled with 768 MB RAM and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean).
Imaging will be handled by an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera.
Connectivity options include, 3G (EVDO upto 3.1Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0, aGPS and the smartphone also supports Dual SIM (CDMA + GSM).
It houses 4GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB and is powered by a 1850 mAh battery.
The handset would surely face a lot of rival devices in the Indian market, among which, most would be domestic smartphones. The smartphone has a lesser processor clocked along with a Dual core compared to the popular and powerful quad core ones that we see these days. While other than that, the battery and also the RAM in the handset are of lesser capacity. Thus among others, XOLO Q1000 Opus, iBall Quadro Andi 5h, Karbonn S5 Titanium, Micromax Canvas Magnus A117, Videocon A55 HD wll surely come in the new smartphon's way.
