Micromax Bolt A064 Now Available in India At Rs 3,301

Just a couple of days ago, Micromax listed its new low-end smartphone - the Bolt A064 on its official website and now the smartphone is on sale in the country. It's via the third party online retailers like Snapdeal and Amazon. The phone can be purchased for as low as Rs. 3,301 and is available in Black and White color options.

Micromax Bolt A064: Key Specification

The Micromax Bolt A064 comes with a 3.5 inch display offering an HVGA resolution of 320x480 pixels. It is powered by dual-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and 512 MB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The Bolt A064 sports a 2 MP rear camera accompanied a flash and a 0.3 MP front camera. Talking about the connectivity options the device offers dial SIM, GPRS, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB connectivity.

The device features 4 GB internal storage which can be extended to up to 32 GB and comes packed with a 1400 mAh battery that arguably provides 5 hours talktime and 150 hours of standby on 2G network.

Unfortunately, the Bolt A064 does not support 3G connectivity. Like other Micromax smartphones, the Bolt A064 comes with some pre-installed apps such as M! Live, Opera, M! Games, M! Insurance, M! Pick, M! Security, Clean Master, Hike, Games Club, Launcher: Mad, Saavn, Zapper Games: Bounce Ball Classic, Bubble X Slice, and Zombie Smasher.

Since, the competition is pretty tough in the low-end segment due to the number of smartphones that are being launched, the new Micromax smartphone will have to face a bit of a challenge in the Indian market.
