Micromax Bolt A28 and Bolt A59: Dual SIM, Budget Smartphones Now Selling Via Official Website

Just a couple of days ago India based smartphone vendor Micromax launched its latest budget friendly device called the Bolt A66 in the domestic market at Rs. 6,000. Now the maker of the Canvas Turbo has started selling their Bolt A59 and Bolt A28 smartphone from their officially website. These devices are priced at Rs. 4,499 and Rs. 3,599 respectively.

However, these devices were already available since the first week of January from Snapdeal. Falling in the line of the company's popular Bolt series, these smartphones viz. Bolt A59 and Bolt A28 are both dual SIM Android devices.

Micromax Bolt A59

Going by the specs, the Micromax Bolt A59 comes with 3.5-inch HVGA display (320×480 pixels resolution) and is powered by a 1GHz single-core Spreadtrum SC7710 processor coupled with 256MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.1 OS. The phone also features 2MP rear camera, front facing VGA camera, 512MB of internal storage, dual-SIM support and 1500 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 2G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It is priced at Rs. 4,350 on Snapdeal.

Micromax Bolt A28

On the other hand Micromax Bolt A28 features a 3.5-inch HVGA display. It is powered by a 1GHz single-core processor coupled with 256MB of RAM. It runs on older version of OS, Android 2.3. The device houses 512MB of inbuilt storage along with a microSD card slot. Similar connectivity features are present in the handset like 2G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Obviously it supports a dual-SIM support and also sports a 0.3MP front and rear cameras. The device is powered by 1500 mAh battery. The basic smartphone comes at the cost of Rs. 3,483 on Snapdeal.

These new Micromax smartphones are entry level devices and are suitable for consumers who are looking to buy a dual SIM phones in a low price. However, devices with such specs which comes at this price point can be found in ample numbers in the market. Apart from all the devices, most devices that are likely to compete with these newbies would be recently launched Lava Iris 354e, Nokia Asha 501, Asha 502 and Asha 500 among others.
