Domestic vendor Micromax recently launched Canvas Knight Cameo A290 in India at a special price of Rs. 11, 990. The device looks similar to its older brother - the Canvas Knight A350.
Micromax Canvas Knight Cameo A290 comes with a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592M processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS. In the imaging front, the handset sports a 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front-facing snapper.
Other specs include: 8GB internal memory, expandable memory with microSD, Dual SIM, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and it is powered by a 2000 mAh battery.Hardware-wise, the Canvas Knight Cameo A290 is powered by a 1.4Ghz true octa-core MediaTek processor, paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of native storage and a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
With a 4.7-inch HD display and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, the handset doesn't look particularly compromised. The new handset is running on the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat out-of-the box.
Other highlighted connectivity and features include: 3G, Wi-Fi, dual-SIM, FM Radio, Bluetooth and GPS.
