After a much waiting, the most celebrated smartphone brand of India - Micromax has today officially launched its latest flagship device - the Canvas Nitro A310 in India. The device has already started selling via Snapdeal exclusively at the price of Rs. 12,990.
The latest offering from the top-tier Indian smartphone vendor does come to compete with the newly launched smartphone including the Moto G (2014) and also Xiaomi Mi3. Take a look at the specs below.

The latest Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 sports a 5-inch IPS display offering an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The display churns out the pixel density of 294ppi.
It is powered by an octa core MediaTek 6592 chipset clocked at 1.7GHz with Mali 450 GPU tuned at 700MHz. The CPU is complemented by a 2GB RAM and it comes with Android 4.4.2 out of the box.
In the imaging aspect, the device uses a combination of 13MP Auto Focus rear camera with LED flash and 5MP fixed focus front facing snapper.
Internal storage capacity of the handset seats at 8GB of which 5GB will be available for apps/ storage. The smartphone also comes with a microSD card slot which can furhter expand the memory by 32GB. There are light, proximity and accelerometer. Connectivity options include: 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Withal, it is a dual SIM (micro+micro) handset.
The Micromax Canvas Nitro A310, which will be offered in Mesmerizing Blue and Pristine White color variants draw its energy from a 2500 mAh battery that will power the handset giving a talk-time of up to 10 hours, according to the company.
Micromax will also offer a free screen protector with the phone (inside the box).
The Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 comes with a leatherette back panel, which makes it quite different from its relative devices.
The device comes with a highly customized UI including Quick Look, which resembles the Blinkfeed from HTC.
The latest device is quite impressive as it brings octa core CPU, 2GB RAM, 13MP rear camera and 5MP font facing shooter and a good software tweak in just Rs. 12,990. As far as the competition is concerned, the latest offering from Micromax has quite a potential to battle against most of the latest smartphones being offered at sub Rs. 10,000.
