Micromax To Launch A New Budget Phone On April 21

Few days back, mobile manufacturer Micromax, has revealed the plan of launching the budget smartphone around Rs. 6,000, exclusively on Snapdeal.

Dubbed as Canvas Spark, the company has sent out the press invites for a launch event in Delhi which is scheduled on April 21.

In the invite, it has a tagline, which says ‘Watch Sparks Fly! #MicromaxCanvasSpark'.According to TOI's sources the smartphone will be priced less than Rs. 6,000.

According to teaser, this device is expected to be shipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and the display will be covered by a Corning Gorilla Glass.

As per the report, Canvas Spark will feature a 4.7-inch display, MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor, microSD card slot, dual-SIM, and will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Micromax Canvas Spark in this price range, will compete against of like of Xiaomi Redmi 2, Moto E and Lenovo A6000 smartphones in the market.
