Micromax Canvas Spark: Xiaomi Redmi 2 Rival Launched in India at Rs 4,999

    Indian mobile manufacturer, Micromax has launched the budget smartphone under its very own Canvas Line-up. Codenamed, Canvas Spark, it is available exclusively on the e-retailer store Snapdeal from April 29.

    The registration for the first flash begins from tomorrow at 12PM, and it will be available for sale on April 29. Customers will get two months of free 500MB 3G data for Vodafone users as a launch day offer.

    Micromax Canvas Spark, sports a 4.7-inch qHD display with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MTK6582 quad-core processor along with 1GB RAM.

    Moreover, on the storage front, Spark is equipped with 8GB of built-in memory, with an expansion option via microSD card slot.

    Moving to the imaging factor, Canvas Spark features an 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and shipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

    Further, this device supports connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and powered by a 2000mAh battery on board.

    Coming to the price, Canvas Spark carries a price tag of Rs, 4,999 and will be available for sale exclusively on the e-commerce site Snapdeal from April 29.
