Micromax Canvas Viva A72 Officially Released at Rs 6499 : Will You Buy the Younger Kin of Canvas HD?

Nevertheless, the India based vendor has made it clear that it is not only bound to launch budget oriented entry-level smartphones, but also high-end devices such as Canvas HD. On Tuesday, Micromax captured the tech headlines with the launch of Canvas Viva A72 online on Snapdeal and Infibeam at Rs 6,999. Now, the company has launched the phablet officially and it is out in stores at a price of Rs 6,499 in India.

Detailing on the specs, Canvas Viva A72 houses a 5 inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 1GHz single core processor, Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread OS, dual SIM support, 256MB RAM, 110MB internal storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage, 3MP rear camera, VGA front camera, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3 and a 2,000 mAh Li-Ion battery offering 280 hours standby and 7 hours talk time.
