Micromax Canvas Win W121 And W092: Windows Phone 8.1 Smartphones Launched at Rs 9,500 and Rs 6,500
Micromax has made quite a name for itself with its ventures in the Android eco-system in the recent past. Now, the company is starting off on a brand new journey, this time around with the Microsoft-based Windows Phone operating system under its hood.
Micromax has introduced the Canvas Win W121 and Canvas Win W092 for the first time in the Indian market. The devices are also the first Windows Phone devices from an Indian smartphone manufacturer.

It's been four months since the company had announced a partnership with Microsoft, and now true to its promise, the company has delivered not one, but two new devices that are also running the latest Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.
Micromax Canvas Win W121: Specifications
The Canvas Win W121 sports a 5-inch device with an impressive looking HD IPS display. The device comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor with 1GB of memory, and is also equipped with proximity, gravity, and light sensors, an accelerometer, Dual-SIM capability, with a leather finish back pane.
On the imaging front, there's an 8 megapixel rear camera (with LED flash), and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera. Also, the device has 8GB of built in storage with up to 32GB of expandable memory.

Micromax Canvas Win W092: Specifications
The Canvas Win W092, on the other hand, is a 4-inch device with a IPS WVGA display. And just like the Canvas Win W121, the Canvas Win W092 is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor and 1GB of memory.
Imaging is taken care of by a 5 megapixel rear camera (with LED flash), and a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera. Also, the device has 8GB of built in storage with up to 32GB of expandable memory, and even supports dual SIM functionality.
Starting in July 2014, the Canvas Win W121 and Canvas Win W092 will be available via retailers across India at Rs. 9,500 and Rs. 6,500 respectively.
