Micromax launches A45 Superfone for Rs 5,499

Remember the Micromax Aisha voice assistant? A couple of months back we reported about this Siri like feature in the Micromax A50 Ninja dual SIM handset. Aisha means Artificial Intelligence Speech Handset Assistant. It will reply to all the queries you ask.

Now, the Indian manufacturer has come up with a successor for the A50 Ninja smartphone. The new one, Superfone A45 Punk is the second device in the Ninja series. This is slightly larger the previous release, the Ninja A50. The new launch is available for prebooking from the Micromax official site for a price in India of Rs 5,499.

The Superfone A45 Punk has a 3.5 inch display with a proximity sensor that was not there in its predecessor. It has a 1300 mAh battery, 650 MHz processor and 2 MP camera. The handset comes preloaded with the AISHA voice assistant of the company.

As per the pricing is concerned, it falls in the category of cheap Android smartphones. It has a bigger display, a voice assistant application, 256 MG RAM, expandable memory of up to 32 GB, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity options. The smartphone runs on the Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread operating system. One major difference between the A50 and A45 is that the latter is a single SIM handset. It houses a larger battery than the A50 as it sports a larger screen that consumes more power.
