Last month, Micromax launched its latest Android KitKat powered smartphone in India at a very nominal price of Rs. 6,999. At the same time, the company also released another similar smartphone called the Canvas Engage which also features a same Android KitKat OS.
Both these smartphones are actually launched in the market to cut down the sales of the Moto E smartphone from Motorola which is also powered by same OS version. Soon, native smartphone makers like Lava and Xolo also entered the same arena with their phones.
However, now the competition is getting pretty tough in the market as far as the low-end Android KitKat Phones are concerned.
