A Beauty Contest: Micromax Van Gogh Vs Maxx Vista
Today we compare 2 models from 2 of India"s most prominent domestic mobile manufacturers Micromax and Maxx Mobiles. The models are Micromax Van Gogh X450 and Maxx Vista.
Both the models are styled in a sleek and trendy manner. Van Gogh is designed on the cues of art works done by a famous painter who goes by the same name. The striking yellow shade on its back panel is inspired from the Artists prolonged tale of love with Sunflowers and his paintings centred on the flower.
Maxx Vista is more of a ladies oriented phone as it is clearly visible from its pinkish white appearance and bubbly looks. The Maxx mobile is perfectly suited for a place in expensive handbags and clutches of Upper class ladies and girls.
Both the phone are good on the specs department and comes loaded with the latest in multimedia features and will support the needs of all users who prefer to buy such phones just because of the looks they offer.
On the spec chart both the phones have softwares that support playback and recording of audio and video.
Playback of media is supported over a wide variety of well known multimedia formats like MP3, MP4, AVI, WAV, AAC+ and much more.
Both the phones offer Dual Sim Standby and thus facilitate network flexibility. On the camera front, the Vista scores with a 3.2 Mega Pixel camera as compared to the 2 Mega Pixel of the Van Gogh. Both the phones have video recording capability.
On the connectivity front the phones are equipped with Bluetooth and USB PC connectivity. They both have 2G internet connectivity via GPRS. Both the phones have expandable memory options via a Micro SD slot and can be extended upto 8 GB.
The Maxx mobile Vista has quick launch buttons for Facebook and e-Buddy. It is also better on performance. The final aspect is the pricing. The Van Gogh is priced at Rs 3400 whereas the Vista is priced at Rs 3500.
Thus for just Rs 100 more, the Maxx Vista is the better choice of the two but the Van Gogh will be preferred more by the stronger sex as the other is slightly too girlish.
