Micromax Yu Yureka First Look: Processor and Connectivity
The Yu Yureka is a killer smartphone, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor with Adreno 450 G05 GPU, and is clocked at 1.5 GHz. Yes, this chipset is 64-bit! The handset is also coupled with 2GB DDR 3 RAM.
Notably, the imbedded processor can access upto 4 billion times more memory than the 32-bit system, making the overall experience go upto the next level all together. At the launch event, the company also compared the device with Apple's iPhone in terms of raw power.
Although we didn't get the time to test the handset fully on-the-spot; however, we did manage to sense a positive vibe around it. The performance seemed to be fairly smooth when the phone was tested at a demo center.
Other than a healthy RAM, the device is stuffed with 16GB of native storage which can be expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. Indeed, this is a dual-SIM supported handset.
The handset supports 4G LTE. It does make things really exciting for Indian customers. It also features CAT 4 technology which will allow download speeds of upto 150 mbps. Other than an LTE connection, the phone comes with regular 3G/2G GSM connectivity, Wi-Fi, GSM, Bluetooth and more.
