Microsoft Lumia 640 and 640 XL LTE Variants are Coming to India Soon
Redmond giant, Microsoft has launched the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640XL in the Indian smartphone market. Initially, both these devices were unveiled last month, at MWC 2015.
Both the devices are shipped with Windows 8.1, which will be upgraded to Windows 10. Also, the company didn't announced anything about the LTE models, but the dual SIM HSPA+ variants despite 4G is listed as coming soon on the country specific website.
Microsoft Lumia 640 - Key specifications
Lumia 640 flaunts ah 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels, powered by a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, which can be expandable up to 128GB using a MicroSD card. Moreover, Microsoft is also giving away 30GB of OneDrive storage space to all Lumia 640 buyers.

Lumia 640 flaunts an 8MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, and LED flash, 0.9MP front snapper with f/2.4 aperture, and 720p video recording capabilities and supports connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LTE support, NFC.
Also, the Lumia 640 is powered by a 2500mAh battery, Microsoft claims that it is good enough for up to 20.3 hours of talk time, and up to 35 days on standby mode. Priced at Rs. 11,999, Lumia 640 will be available exclusively on the e-commerce store Flipkart, starting from April 7.
Microsoft Lumia 640XL - Key Specifications
Moving to the specification of Microsoft Lumia 640XL, it sports a 5.7-inch HD ClearBlack, IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels which is translated into 259ppi.
Lumia 640XL is clocked at 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 along with 1GB RAM under the hood. Moreover, Lumia 640XL flaunts a 13MP rear camera with Zeiss optics, LED flash, 5MP front selfie camera with a wide angle lens.
Moving to the storage, it has 8GB of internal storage, with an expansion option of up to 128GB via MicroSD card slot. Lumia 640XL supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, DLNA, FM, Micro-USB along with some sensors like Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor.

Moreover, the Lumia 640XL features a 3,000mAh battery, it will give up to 23.7 hours of talk time and 39 days in standby mode.
Priced at Rs. 15,799, Lumia 640XL will be available in all the leading retail stores across India, starting from April 7.
