Following the Nexus device and Android One, search engine giant Google has now rolled out the Android 5.1 update for Moto G Google Play edition.

Moto G Google Play Edition Now Receiving Android 5.1

This update is rolled out over-the-air and carries the build number LMY47M. This update is 171MB in size and brings the same changes that were released for the Nexus devices like tweaked quick-settings panel, Device Protection feature, tweaks to interruptions, bug fixes as well as improved dual-SIM implementation.

Motorola Moto G Google Play Edition, sports a 4.5 Inch HD Touchscreen Display. It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and Adreno 305 GPU along with 1GB RAM.

On the camera front, it has 5 MP Rear Camera With LED Flash, 1.3 MP Front Camera on board. Moreover, it runs on Android 4.4. Also on the storage, Moto G comes with 8GB of internal memory, with no expandable option to it.

Coming to the connectivity option it comes with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0 and powered by a 2070 mAh battery under the hood.
