Motorola's Global Version of Droid Turbo To Launch in Brazil on Nov 5
After introducing the new Droid Turbo smartphone for Verizon in the US. Motorola is now ready to launch the same phone Globally, starting from the Brazilian market. The company has started sending out press invites in the country for its event slated on November 5th.

However, the global variant of the phone will likely be touted as Moto Maxx. Although, the invitation does not mention the name of the device it shows back of a device that resembles that of the DROID Turbo's Ballistic Nylon back. The Lenovo-owned smartphone maker is apparently following the trend set by Korean smartphone maker LG and even Japan-based smartphone maker Sony which launch smartphones with different names in different markets.

As far as the specs are concerned, it looks like they are going to be ditto in every way. Thus, you are possibly looking at the Moto Maxx that comes with a 5.2 (1440×2560 pixels) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Powered by a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor coupled with 3GB RAM, the new Motorola Moto Maxx runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). The device is offered in the US in two variants depending on the storage size viz. 32GB and 64GB internal storage.

Imaging capabilities are pretty impressive with the employment of 21-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, 4K video recording and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. One of the key features of the phone is the 3,900mAh battery, which can soak up 8 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes thanks to the Turbo Charger. It is not known if the phone will be launched in other countries as well.
However, it is still unclear, whether or not, the smartphone will be launched in other markets anytime soon.
