Motorola has had a phenomenal run so far. The handset maker sold over 10 million smartphones during the third quarter of 2014. Given the success of the Moto G and Moto X, Motorola has managed to achieve impressive growth in the lower as well as high-end segment.

Needless to say, Motorola is at a huge competitive advantage over its arch rivals in the mobile phone business. Qualcomm recently confirmed that Motorola will be using the Snapdragon 810 processor in one its upcoming phones, and a new leak suggests that the purported device could be announced at this year's MWC tech show.

Motorola Tipped To Launch New Flagship Smartphone Soon

While the Moto X (Gen 2) was only launched back in September 2014, one Twitter user Ricciolo has tweeted that Motorola is working on a flagship that will be smarter than the competition.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet blockquote" lang="en"><p>Are you looking for a FLAGSHIP "SMARTER" than any others "smartphones"??? I can give you an "HINT"... Coming Soon... <a href="http://t.co/ktL1bf6mcK">pic.twitter.com/ktL1bf6mcK</a></p>— Ricciolo (@Ricciolo1) <a href="https://twitter.com/Ricciolo1/status/563326091947827201" rel="nofollow">February 5, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Well, this could indicate that Motorola is readying a new smartphone. No further information has been provided so its unclear what this device is going to bring to the market. Could we see a non-branded Nexus 6 with enhanced specs?

All rumours indicate that Motorola will hold a press meet at the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC), where we might get to see the device.
