The company has big plans for India in the coming months and they have announced the launch of two new models soon in the Indian market. The models are Motorola Titanium and Motorola Theory. They are expected for release this month end.
Motorola Theory is a normal multimedia phone with basic features and is aimed at the masses. Motorola Titanium salient feature is that it is a slightly upmarket phone aimed for middle and upper class of consumers. The looks of both the phones are somewhat boring. Theory model is a candy bar phone with physical QWERTY keypad and a small display screen. Titanium on the other hand features a physical QWERTY keypad as well as a large touch screen based display. Titanium is more suited for viewing movies and playing thrilling games.
Both the phones are equipped with a camera but Titanium boasts of a 5 Mega Pixel camera as compared to the humble 1.3 Mega Pixel camera on Theory. Both the cameras offer video recording but neither of the phones provides High Definition (HD) Video recording option.
The phones are loaded with multimedia support options such as music player, video player and FM radio with RDS. Both the phones have a 3.5 mm headphone jack that can also be used for connecting to external speakers. Motorola Theory has louder speakers but the Quality of music produced by Titanium is a class apart.
On the connectivity front Motorola Titanium features and Motorola Theory differ a lot. Theory just offers basic features such as Bluetooth connectivity whereas the Titanium offers Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technology.
