myTouch phones from Huawei coming soon
T-Mobile network has approached Huawei to provide new smart phone models to add to their myTouch series. T-Mobile already has a vast number of smart phones for their customers and that too from various manufacturers. myTouch series of smart phones from the network provider has got very high acceptance and with its success the company is going to expand the whole range. Presently the line up has mobile phones from LG and HTC.
According to some gadget users the news is that Huawei’s latest smart phones U8680 and U8730 are all set to be rolled out under the T-Mobile network. Nothing much about the phones are known as for now except for a very few specs. These are android devices that will be working on Google android version 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Both the mobile phones will have similar size and design.
The major difference will be that one of them will have a sliding QWERTY keypad while the other does not. The displays in both the mobile phones will have WVGA resolution that is 800 x 480 pixels. Some pictures that are claimed to be the new myTouch phones show two moderately sized phones having a very curvy design. The phone which seems to have a dual tone colour finish has very impressive looks.
The quality and durability of Huawei mobile phones have been proven over the years so it would appeal to a very large public segment. The hardware specifications of Huawei mobile phones are very impressive and are on par with some of the top mobile phone manufacturers in the world.
These phones comes with a large varieties of inbuilt applications too that can aid in everyday activities and can be used for entertainment purposes. Therefore T-Mobile has done a bold move by opting Huawei to produce the latest myTouch range of phones.
There is no word on the price tags of Huawei U8680 and U8730. The phones are set to be launched around May. We can expect the price tag to be in the affordable range. Huawei is well known in the Asian mobile phone sectors, but they have not yet had a huge following in other European and US market. The alliance with T-Mobile is definitely a golden opportunity for the company to showcase their smart phones worldwide and make the people familiar with the companies’ brand name.
