Samsung has decided to reveal the details on new smartphones to be launched by the company this week. The rumor on this was there from long before, but Samsung has always being postponing the date for official announcement due to some technical reasons.

According to the sources the latest Smartphones will be on Google owned Android operating system. Most probably the smartphone might be fully loaded with android Ice-cream sandwich version. As if now, there is no information on the name of the gadget as company has kept it more confidentially. The strategy of Samsung is bit unusual as the authorities are not even ready to talk anything about the Smartphone, in-fact not even the name.

The conformation on the date came just after another leading global player made announcement on latest Smartphone, built on the same platform to be launched very soon. Samsung and Apple are not having healthy relationship from past few months. Both the companies are into 20 different legal cases globally and having a tuff time too with the legal issues. Some of the experts believe that the sudden declaration by Samsung has made it clear that both the companies are into tuff competition. One of the major legal battle among the companies is on the Samsung infringe the patent of Apple by launching Samsung Galaxy tabs earlier. Another important and interesting thing is that Apple which is one of the biggest rivals of Samsung, itself is a customer of Samsung. Apple depends on Samsung for chips and displays.

Both the global players have their brand images and huge market potential as far as Smartphone industry is concern. The latest launch by Apple is iPhone 4S, which has already started capturing huge market. The gadget was in demand before the launched itself.
