iPhone 5S: First Images of iPhone 5 Successor Surfaces Online

The trial production market of the seventh-generation handset of the apple has begun in style and the images of the new iPhone 5s has started appearing on the web. The news on the web says the apple plans to unveil it at its annual developer conference in the summer of 2013. The conference may also witness the unveiling of OS X 10.9, Apple's next Mac OS.

The leaked images show a "X" sign at the back denoting that it is prototype hardware. This has thrown some suspicion around whether this is actually a prototype of iPhone5 or is it the new iPhone 5S model. The logic board screw holes looks to be different from the one's seen in iPhone5. Though the casing of the model still shows iPhone5, the media has given the name iPhone 5S keeping in line with Apple's tradition of calling different iteration of iPhones.

As per the information coming in, two Taiwanese companies are already hired by Apple for manufacturing the seventh generation iPhone's chipsets. TSMC and Packager Advanced Semiconductor Engineering have already entered Apple's supply chain and are expected to make strong profits in the first quarter of 2013. There are also reports which indicate that Apple has started testing the new iPhone 5S model.

However, some other sources have hinted Apple may not have a new A-series processor ready either for iPhone 5S or iPhone6. With the rumors of Apple no longer associating with Samsung for sourcing Soc manufacturing, the company may well find it difficult to launch A-series chips anytime in the near future.
