10 Crazy Xiaomi Products That Will Surprise You
Xiaomi has taken the smartphone market by storm ever since it entered India last year.
However unlike popular belief the Chinese OEM hasn't at all limited itself to only smartphone. Rather it has ventured into the accessories department by adding power banks, headphones, mi flash etc. to its portfolio.
Apparently the Mi Piston earphones, Power banks and their Mi TV range has fared rather well in the market.
Nevertheless it seems like Xiaomi isn't happy to limit itself only to technology products. On the contrary it has ventured to fields which one may not have even expected from a technology company.
Rather most aren't even aware of these ‘crazy' products which Xiaomi has in China. Sadly, most of them aren't yet available in India.
Mi Wi-Fi Tank Model Toy
Ever thought of controlling an Army Tank? No, I am not talking of controlling it in real life! However you can do via your phone, albeit a model toy!
Xiaomi's "Tank", the toy iteration of M1A2 American main battle tank comew with two WiFi antennas for pairing with your phone. The tank can be controlled from a distance of approx. 60 metres (outdoor) and 30 metres (indoor).
The USP of the tank lies in the fact that it comes with a HD spy camera which directly streams video and photos to your mobile via WiFi. Further the Tank can indeed cross obstacles and run through rugged terrains (it a "Tank" after all!)
Xiaomi Portable Laptop Bag
Yes, it indeed is a laptop bag! This may sound like an irony though considering the fact that Xiaomi is yet to make a laptop of its own. Oh, wait; they are building one in collaboration with Inventec and is scheduled to launch early next year.
Mi Portable Keychain
This is a strange product form a technology centric brand like Xiaomi. It is a simple key chain with a metallic Mi Bunny attached to it.
Xiaomi Genuine Leather Wallet
Are you are Xiaomi fan bee and planning to buy a new wallet? Don't worry Xiaomi has you covered? The company has a genuine leather wallet available for you in China.
Mi Bunny Transparent Sugar Pot
Xiaomi wants to enter you kitchen too. No it isn't via a Water Purifier as you may be thinking. On the contrary the Chinese OEM has launched a Transparent Sugar Pot.
Xiaomi Portable Water Cup
This is yet another out of the box crazy product from a Technology centric company. The Cups used for carrying water on the go are available in three colour variants - Green, Black and White.
Mi Key
The Mi Key fits into the 3.5 mm audio jack of your smartphones/tablets and protects it from dust and germs. But is that all it does? No! You can also launch apps by simply pressing on the Mi Key connected via the audio jack.
Xiaomi Trolley Bag
Tough times ahead for American Tourister, as this Chinese company is planning an entry into the travel accessories market via their Xiaomi Trolley Bag.
Nevertheless Xiaomi's Mi Trolley comes with four wheels, an extendable handle with three level stops. Further it's quite light and has a capacity of 36 litres. It comes in four colours - black, white, blue and grey and is priced at just 299 Yuan (Rs 3,000 approx.)
Xiaomi TDS Pen
The Chinese OEM launched a TDS (Total Dissolved Solid) Pen alongside their Mi Purifier at the beginning of this year. The pen is used for calculating the total dissolved solid in water. For people living in areas having sub-standard drinking water, the TDS Pen would be of great use.
Xiaomi Macro Lens
Many aren't even aware that Xiaomi has a detachable Macro lens for their smartphones. The company launched a 2in1 (Fish Eye + Macro) lens two years back at a price of just 59 Yuan (Rs 600 approx.). At this price point it is one of the must have accessories for all the Mi phones.
