10.or D sold out in less than 1 minute on its first sale

10.or (pronounced Tenor) smartphones' 10.or D went on sale for the first time today exclusively on Amazon.in at 12 noon. The smartphone witnessed records sales as all of its units were sold out in less than 1 minute.

"We are delighted to have witnessed such an overwhelming customer response for the 10.or D smartphone. We had over 300,000 registrations from customers. We are delighted to offer our Prime members the delivery of their 10.or D starting as early as tomorrow morning," said Noor Patel, Director Category Management, Amazon India while responding to the news.

"This follows the fantastic response that we received on 10.or G and E celebrations recently. During the recent 10.or celebrations-10.or E and G registered a growth of over 10 times in sales when compared to a normal day," he added further.

As mentioned earlier, the 10.or D had over 300,000 registrations from customers following the launch announcement on 20th of December, 2017. The smartphone is available in two memory variants; 2GB RAM & 16GB ROM at Rs. 4,999 and 3GB RAM & 32GB ROM at Rs. 5,999.

There are some launch offers on the purchase of the new 10.or smartphones. Customers buying 10.or D series are entitled to get a cashback of up to Rs. 1,500 Jio Unlimited plan starting at just Rs. 199 per month. Amazon Prime members will get an additional year of extended warranty for all devices. Other two smartphones from the company; 10.or E and G continue with discounts of Rs. 1,000 on both the variants.

10.or D unboxing and first impressions

The 10.or D was announced back in December as an Amazon exclusive to take on Flipkart Billion Capture+ smartphone. The smartphone is fitted with a 5.2-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels.

The 10.or D is claimed to have gone through 962 tests to make sure that it renders the performance that is needed by the users. The 10.or D is powered by a 64-bit quad-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 425 processor that is teamed up with Adreno 308 GPU. This processor and GPU combination lets the smartphone render smooth and fluid visuals and a seamless user experience.

In terms of optics, the smartphone sports a 13-MP rear camera complete with autofocus and an LED flash. Up front, it houses a 5-MP selfie camera. The 10.or D draws its power from a 3,500mAh Li-Po high density battery that is claimed to deliver up to 70 hours of MP3 playback time, up to 25 hours of talk time, and up to 10 hours of internet browsing time.

There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the smartphone that lets users to unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds.
