Another triple camera smartphone appears on AnTuTu benchmarks
Huawei P20 Pro might have another competitor soon.
The 360 N7 can be the next smartphone with a triple camera setup. It could come with some top-of-the-line specs at a lower price. The upcoming smartphone from 360 Mobiles has been tested on the AnTuTu benchmark.
The device managed to get a total score of 138,962 points. The score is in line with devices with Snapdragon 660 processor. And this device is said to be powered by MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. The screenshot of the benchmark of the N7 has been leaked. The smartphone managed to score more than 63K points in CPU performance. It scored more than 29K points at GPU performance.
Apart from the leaked benchmarks, a render reveals the rear panel of the phone. The image shows that the device will launch with a triple camera setup. Unlike Huawei P20 Pro, the camera modules are placed horizontally.
As the image shows, the smartphone has a metal unibody design. Below the camera, there's an LED flash and a fingerprint reader. The volume rockers are placed on the right side along with the power key.
According to latest reports, 360 N7 could be announced on May 8 in Beijing. It will come with Helio P60 and 6GB of RAM. But there are chances that it will come with a Snapdragon 660.
Speaking of Huawei P20 Pro, the teardown of the phone reveals how they pulled off a triple camera setup. The teardown shows that both 20MP monochrome and the 40MP primary lens share a single connector port. While the 8MP telephoto lens has an exclusive connection to the motherboard. This shows that the company didn't reinvent the connection when it decided to add the telephoto lens; it hardly added a new connection on top of the normal dual camera connector.
The Huawei P20 Pro scored tremendous 109 rating for its camera on DxOMark. Huawei P20 Pro's smaller sibling - the P20 secured the second place on DxOMark with a 102 rating. These two smartphones are followed by the Samsung Galaxy S9, Google Pixel 2, and the iPhone X. Apart from that, the P20 Pro also scores the highest rating (98) for its video quality.
