5 Reasons You Should Buy Oneplus 2 instead of Google Nexus 6

But do you remember the Google Nexus 6 that was launched back last year? Featuring flagship specification and build like a rock by Motorola, the device succeeded to capture every buyer's imagination. It was an obvious choice for a many users who wanted a flagship device with a near stock OS and frequent updates. Now, though the situation is like different.

Apparently OnePlus Two with its near vanilla Oxygen OS running on top of the latest Android Lollipop (5.1.1) seems like a fair competitor to topple the Google Nexus 6 from its throne. And here why tech analysts at Gizbot feel so?

Higher RAM:

While the Nexus 6 comes with only a 3GB variant, the OnePlus comes with two different variants. One of which features a 4GB of RAM. In fact the variant with 32GB internal storage and 4GB of RAM costs just Rs 24,999 in India.

More Powerful SoC:

Despite featuring the infamous latest generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, Carl Pei - Founder & CEO of OnePlus One claims that this device won't heat as much like other devices which have donned the SoC before. He claims that the device uses a v2.1 of the SoC where the cores has been slightly clocked down to keep the heating issues under control.

But if we could place this heating issue aside, there's no doubt that the SD810 is far more powerful chip than the one found inside the Google Nexus 6 (SD805).

OIS Camera with Laser Autofocus:

This is an important feature that has gone missing in the Nexus 6. The OIS in the OnePlus Two will help users to record seamless videos without worrying much about the shakiness/choppiness of the video.

The Laser Autofocus on the other hand will help in significantly higher focusing speeds. OnePlus claims that the device can focus in as low as 0.02 secs! This technology is present in a many a flagship devices of 2015 namely the LG G4 and the Samsung Galaxy S6.

Fingerprint Sensor:

The all new security feature - the Fingerprint sensor has gained a huge popularity in China. It all started post the launch of the iPhone 6. Now even low range devices from China are sporting this feature. Hence there was no way OnePlus could miss this out in a device which they dub ‘The 2016 Flagship Killer'.

The Touch ID fingerprint sensor is present on the Samsung like home button at the bottom of the display. But the best part is that unlike all those cheaper fingerprint sensors available in the market, this one does unlock your device pretty fast. OnePlus claims that it is as fast as the
iPhone 6.

USB Type C port:

Google Nexus 6 comes with a traditional micro USB 2.0 port, but OnePlus tried to be a little cheesy with their flagship device. In fact it features the much talked about USB Type C port. This port will not only result in higher copy speeds of 5 gigabits per second, but will also free the user of the hassle of the upside down dance associated with all previous gen USB port. Yes this port is reversible!

Hence you can clearly understand that the OnePlus Two has quite a few advantages of the Nexus 6. But all's not gloom for the Nexus device though. In fact it has quite a few advantages:

• Quad HD (2560x1440) display over the Full HD panel (1920x1080) on the OnePlus One.
• Will receive all Android Updates earlier than OnePlus Two
• Ability to test most of Google's latest projects and apps like the Project Fi etc.
• Last but not the least - Hassle free buying experience. This is unlike the one with OnePlus where you have to go through a long invite system procedure.
