Android is the popular mobile operating system as many smartphone and tablet makers opt for its ease of user interface. As we all know, Android is an open source and likely to get virus and malware. Step 1: Reboot Your Smartphone To Safe Mode
You need put your smartphone into safe mode, to prevent any third-party apps to run including any malware. To enable safe mode, press the power button to get power off option, and then press and hold power off button to get restart in safe mode option.
Step 2: Device Settings
Navigate to device Settings and choose Apps under Downloaded tab. Go through the list if you see any apps installed that should not be running on the device.
Step 3: Uninstall Malicious App
Tap on the malicious app (Dodgy Android Virus is an example) and click uninstall. In most cases, the uninstall button is greyed out, as the viruse has become Device Administrator itself.
Step 4: Device Administrator
Now, go to Device Administrator. Here you will get a full list of apps on your with administrator status. You just need to uncheck the app you want to remove, then tap Deactivate on the next screen.
Step 5: Restart to normal mode
After uninstalling the malicious app, just restart your smartphone to take out of safe mode. Now your smartphone is safe without any virus.
