Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei surpasses the Redmond giant Microsoft to become the third largest mobile phone vendor of Q2 2015.
As per the latest research from Strategy Analytics, global mobile phone shipments grew 2 percent annually to reach 435 million units in the second quarter of 2015.

In this above shipment, the Chinese handset maker Huawei was the star performer, as it captured a record 7 percent marketshare and overtook Microsoft.
This 2% growth rate of the overall mobile phone market is the industry's weakest performance for two years, due to slowing demand for handsets in China, Europe and the US.

Moreover, Huawei is rising fast in all regions of the world, particularly China where its 4G models, such as the Mate7 and others. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi remains a major player in China, its local and international growth is slowing.

Samsung
The South Korean giant stands on top with 89 millions of mobile shipment and 20.5% of market share where Samsung dipped 7 percent annually and shipped 89.0 million mobile phones worldwide.
Apple
The Cupertino giant, Apple took the runner up spot with 47.5 millions of mobile shipment and 10.9% of market share.
Huawei
Surpassing the Microsoft, Huawei fixed its place as the world's third largest smartphone vendor. Huawei is in 3rd with 30.6 millions of mobile shipment and 7% of market share.
Microsoft
Losing its place to Huawei, Microsoft now pushed to the 4th spot with 27.8 millions of mobile shipment and 6.4% of market share
Xiaomi
Lei Jun's handset company Xiaomi is in the fifth place with 19.8 millions of mobile shipment and 4.6% of market share.
Others
This place includes all other mobile vendors such as Sony, Motorola and etc with 219.9 millions of mobile shipment and 50.6% of market share.
