Acer’s First Smartphones Are Coming to India on March 25—Here’s What to Expect
Acer is gearing up to enter the Indian smartphone market with its first lineup of devices launching on March 25, 2025. The company had initially planned for a late 2024 release, but now, with an official teaser out, the wait won’t be much longer.
The promotional image for the launch sets a futuristic tone, featuring an astronaut floating in space with the tagline "The Next Horizon." It hints at Acer's ambition to bring something fresh to the market, though specific details about the devices remain under wraps.

Acer's Strategy and Possible Models
Acer, through its partnership with Indkal Technologies, has positioned its smartphones in the ₹15,000 to ₹50,000 range, covering both mid-range and premium segments. The company has emphasized delivering solid hardware, advanced software, and a high-quality user experience.
Interestingly, earlier this year, two Acer-branded smartphones—the Acerone Liquid S162E4 and Acerone Liquid S272E4—were briefly listed on the company's India website. These models featured MediaTek Helio P35 processors, HD+ displays, and 5000mAh batteries, suggesting they were budget 4G devices. However, it's unclear if these will be part of the upcoming launch or if Acer is planning something more powerful.
Where to Buy and What’s Next
Acer's smartphones will be sold on Amazon India, and more details, including pricing and specifications, should emerge in the coming weeks. With strong competition from brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, and Realme, Acer’s entry into the Indian market will be one to watch.
