After Lollipop it's Time to Taste Marshmallow For Moto G (2nd Gen) Users
As promised, the smartphone maker Motorola has started rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Moto G (2nd Gen) and Moto G (2nd Gen) 4G users in India. This Android update comes Over the Air (OTA) with codename v24.41.34 and 464.2MB in size.
Apart from the update, it also has Android Security update for December. Previously, the company has rolled out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Moto G (3rd Gen) and Moto G Turbo edition smartphones.
Recapping the specificatinons, Moto G(2nd Gen) comes with 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) processor along with Adreno 305 GPU besides 1GB RAM.
Talking about the storage front, this device comes with 16GB of inbuilt memory, with expansion option via microSD card slot.
Moreover, the Moto G2 features an 8MP autofocus rear camera capable of recording 720p HD video recording at 30fps, a 2MP front-facing camera.

On the connectivity options it include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 80211.ac, Bluetooth 4.0LE, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 141.5x70.7x10.99mm, and weighs 149 grams. It is powered by a 2390mAh battery.
Initially, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow was announced at the Google I/O on May 28th last year as Android M and later officially launched as Marshmallow on August 17th.
Moving on to the features of Android 6.0, it comes with App permission, Google's Now on Tap, Doze Mode, RAM Manager, Auto backup and restore, Battery life, Auto handling apps, Android Pay and etc.
