A few days back Samsung Galaxy J720F Duo had surfaced on the benchmark indicating its arrival to the smartphone market. In India, the smartphone will arrive as Galaxy J7 Duo. Ahead of its official launch, the company has listed the smartphone on its official Samsung India online Shop along with the images and specifications.
The listing discloses all the key features of the smartphone and confirms that this new arrival will come with dual-camera setup and Bixby support. This would be the first budget smartphone from Samsung to come up with Bixby support.
According to Samsung official website, the Galaxy J7 Duo will sport a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass HD display with a standard aspect ratio of 16:9. The images also confirm that the smartphone will come with a dual-camera setup with the combination 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel camera sensors with f/1.9 aperture, placed vertically on the rear panel along with a LED flash. On the front, the smartphone houses an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie camera.
The biometric scanner is embedded on the home button at front and also come with a removable back cover design. However, it doesn't come with dedicated Bixby hardware button.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Galaxy J7 Duo is powered by an octa-core 1.6 GHz processor is the CPU on the year-old Exynos 7870 Octa chipset, paired with Mali T830 GPU. According to the listing, the device will come in one variant with 4GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage which can be expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
The Galaxy J7 Duo is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery which does not sound so impressive, but Galaxy A5 (2017) also comes with the same chipset and power cell and it showed an excellent result of 95h endurance rate. The smartphone will run on Android 8.0 Oreo and comes with the latest Samsung Experience 9.0 user interface.
On connectivity part, the smartphone comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth v5, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio. The all new Samsung Galaxy J7 is expected to launch in one color variant that is Black. Moreover, there the company haven't disclosed any information on the pricing of the phone.
Hope we will get to know about the pricing on the launch date which will be sometime later this month since April 23 as mention on the pictures of the J7 Duo.
