Ai+ Nova 2 Neo, Nova 2 Pro 5G Launched in India Starting at ₹12,999: Check Specs, Features

Ai+ has launched the Nova 2 Neo 5G and Nova 2 Pro 5G in India, adding two new budget-focused smartphones to its growing lineup. While both devices pack large 6,000mAh batteries and Android 16 out of the box, the Nova 2 Pro stands out with a 144Hz display and MediaTek's Dimensity 7100 chipset.

The company is targeting buyers looking for affordable 5G smartphones, with prices starting at ₹12,999 before bank offers.

Nova 2 Pro Specs and Features

The Nova 2 Pro is the more feature-packed option of the two.

It comes with a large 6.9-inch Full HD+ display that refreshes at up to 144Hz, a specification usually associated with gaming-focused phones. Under the hood is the Dimensity 7100 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The phone also gets stereo speakers, customizable notification lights on the back, and support for microSD cards up to 2TB.

For photography, Ai+ has equipped the device with a 48MP Sony IMX582 main camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Selfies are handled by a 13MP front camera.

A 6,000mAh battery keeps the lights on, while 33W charging helps reduce downtime.

Nova 2 Neo Brings 5G at a Lower Price Point

For buyers who don't need the extra performance, the Nova 2 Neo sits at a more affordable price point.

The device features a 6.74-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 6300 chipset. It comes with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, with the option to expand storage using a microSD card.

Camera duties are handled by a 48MP Sony sensor on the rear and an 8MP front-facing camera.

Like its more expensive sibling, the Neo packs a 6,000mAh battery, although charging speeds are capped at 18W.

Android 16, IP65 Rating, and Privacy Features

One of the more interesting aspects of the Nova 2 series is software. Both phones ship with Android 16-based NxtQuantum OS out of the box.

Ai+ is also emphasizing privacy-focused features through its NxtPrivacy Dashboard. Other shared features include an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance, side-mounted fingerprint scanners, AI Key support, and expandable storage.
