While we are already well into the New Year, smartphone manufacturers are still hungover on one trend from last year. We are talking about displays with the aspect ratio of 18:9. A majority of smartphones that have been launched so far in 2018 come with 18:9. For instance, Meizu yesterday introduced the Meizu M6S, which is the company's first 18:9 smartphone. And, with the launch of Alcatel 3C, TCL-owned Alcatel finally decided to board the 18:9 train as well.
