The unannounced Gionee Elife S6 is in news yet again, ahead of its expected launch on November 16. This time alleged photos of the phone have surfaced on web, putting some light on its design and specs details.
The Gionee Elife S6 is expected to be the company's mid-range smartphone sporting a metal build, and is speculated to come in gold color. It will be pretty thin at 6.9mm, and weigh 145.2 grams. Going by the leaked images, the upcoming Gionee smartphone will be equipped with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display of HD quality, accommodating 720x1280 pixels resolution.
The phone will be powered by MT6753 octa-core chipset ticking at 1.3GHz. Gionee is expected to launch this smartphone in two variants, including a 2GB RAM version with 16GB of internal storage, and a 3GB version with 32GB of inbuilt memory.
In the camera department, the phone is expected to boast a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing snapper. Other features include of a 3150mAh battery. The phone will run Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, and might get support for Android Marshmallow.
As for its price and availability in India, the Lenovo Vibe X3 handset is expected be price around $282 USD and might come for close to Rs 20,000 in India. Although the company might launch the 2GB variant at lower price point, considering that the market has mid-range smartphone options that feature metal bodies and are priced competitively.
