Android 14 Beta Rolling Out For OnePlus 11 5G in India
OnePlus has become one of the first smartphone brands to roll out Android 14 Beta 1 for its flagship OnePlus 11 5G. It is an early build and is part of the Developer Preview Program, allowing developers to test their apps before a wider rollout of the update.
The OnePlus 11 5G joins the likes of the Xiaomi 13 Pro, Vivo X90 Pro, Tecno Camon 20 Series, Oppo Find N2 Flip, Nothing Phone (1), iQOO 11 and others to give users an early first taste of the upcoming Android update.

Android 14 Beta 1 Now Available for OnePlus 11 5G
OnePlus in a forum post said it is rolling out Android 14 Beta for OnePlus 11 5G users starting today. The build is best suited for developers and advanced users, since the build is still riddled with a lot of bugs, and will not be conducive for daily driving.
The forum posts lists out a host of known issues with the build which includes the following -
- WLAN malfunctions in certain scenarios
- Connection fails when casting to a TV display
- Red screen is seen when switching from Guest mode to Owner mode in certain scenarios
- Manual connection fails after the phone is disconnected from the tablet
- WeChat calls may not ring with Bluetooth headsets
- Red screen flashes when creating a new calendar
- Screen freezes when taking picture with the front camera in WhatsApp
The update is available to all users of OnePlus 11 5G including those in India and can be installed via the local install method. The installation instructions are listed on the community post, warning users to be careful about bricking their phones.
