Apple accidentally shows an iOS 11 bug in its iPhone X FaceID ad
Apple promotes a bug in its latest ad.
Apple has been promoting its iPhone X like no other device. The company keeps releasing new ads to flaunt the features of its super flagship. Recently the company released a new ad that promotes the FaceID tech on the smartphone. But if you look closely you'll find an animation bug.
What's the bug
In a scene where the model checks her iPhone X, the text on the iMessage can be seen escaping the animated bubble it's supposed to be in. Although it isn't a major issue and can be brushed off easily, the fact that it appeared in an official ad just throws light on the bugs that Apple's iOS 11 has.
The bug was first spotted by folks at 9to5Mac, and were surprised "that this was signed off for the commercial," especially when it was brought into notice months ago. It is just one of the many bugs in iOS 11 such as the Music app UI, rotation issues, misaligned text in the App Store, and more.
iOS 12
These bugs in iOS 11 are the main reason Apple will be focusing more on the software front instead of only concentrating on bringing new hardware to its devices. The company is reportedly delaying some major iOS additions and planning to cut down on bugs from its software.
This will also allow them to offer a better mobile experience to its users and fewer bugs that bring them in users' bad books. To know more, we'll have to wait until the company unveils iOS 12 in June.
iOS 11.3
Apple will also be rolling out the new version its mobile operating system -- iOS 11.3.
The new iOS 11.3 will be available for the following devices: Pad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 4, iPod touch 6th, iPhone 5s, iPhone SE, iPhone 6/6 Plus, iPhone 6s/6s Plus, iPhone 7/7 Plus, iPhone 8/8 Plus, iPhone X. If you are someone who uses the iPhone 5, 5C or the iPad 4, then this update isn't for you. Which also means that these will be the last devices to support iOS 11.
