Analysts, who have confidently predicted Apple's multiple launch events over the years, are getting anxious about the schedule for the iPhone 15 series. However, multiple sources now claim that Apple may bring the launch event a day forward instead of delaying it, presumably to boost consumer confidence.

Apple iPhone 15 Series iOS Smartphones To Launch Next Month On September 12?

Apple is quite a stickler for timelines when it comes to product launches. However, the company hasn't yet started teasing the arrival of the Apple iPhone 15 series iOS smartphones.

According to some sources who are privy to confidential information, Apple Inc. has decided to launch the iPhone 15 series on September 12, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has claimed in a Tweet.

Gurman has cautioned that dates can still change. This is because several telecom service providers have been reportedly asking key employees to be available on September 13 for a "major smartphone announcement"

When Will Apple Launch The iPhone 15 Series?

Last year, the first iOS smartphone in the Apple iPhone 14 series launched on September 16, 2022. The iPhone 14 Plus launched on October 7, 2022. Pre-orders for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus had begun a week prior to the launch, on September 9, 2022.

According to recent reports, Apple Inc. has indicated to mobile service providers that it will launch the first iOS smartphone, in the Apple iPhone 15 series, on September 13, 2023, which falls on a Wednesday. However, there's no confirmation from any involved parties yet.

Even before launching the entry-level Apple iPhone 14 on September 16, 2022, the pre-orders for the iOS smartphone had begun on September 9. If the same pattern is applicable to the iPhone 15, then pre-orders should begin on Thursday, September 07, 2023, with the official launch a week later on September 13, 2023.

If Apple shifts the Apple iPhone 15 launch date a day earlier to September 12, 2023, it would allow the company to offer the latest iOS smartphones for pre-order a week earlier, on Saturday, September 05, 2023.
