Apple Brings iPhone 17 Pro Models to India With Triple 48MP Cameras, Up to 2TB Storage: Check Price, Specs

Apple has introduced the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max as part of its 2025 lineup. The two flagship models feature a new aluminum design, updated internals, and camera changes aimed at both casual users and professionals.

New Design and Performance Focus

The Pro models come with a brushed aluminum unibody that includes a vapor chamber for better heat management. Apple says this allows the A19 Pro chip to sustain higher performance for longer periods, especially during gaming or video editing. The redesign also makes space for a bigger battery, which should result in longer usage on a single charge.

Display and Durability

The iPhone 17 Pro has a 6.3-inch screen, while the Pro Max comes in at 6.9 inches. Both use Apple’s Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion up to 120Hz and peak brightness rated at 3,000 nits. Ceramic Shield now covers both the front and the back for added scratch and crack resistance.

Hardware and Connectivity

Inside, the A19 Pro chip pairs with a new N1 networking chip that supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread. The combination is designed to improve performance for tasks like AirDrop, hotspot connections, and gaming.

Camera Changes

On the rear, the new 48MP Fusion camera system offers multiple zoom options, including an 8x telephoto lens exclusive to the Pro Max. On the front, the updated 18MP Center Stage camera can capture wider group selfies and stabilized video. Video features like ProRes RAW and Log 2 are also part of the package, targeting creators who want more control over footage.

iOS 26 and Apple Intelligence

The devices ship with iOS 26, which adds Apple Intelligence features such as live translation, call screening, and updated photo tools. These run locally on the device rather than relying entirely on the cloud.
