A new leak by a China Telecom official states that the Cupertino company is mulling to launch the Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in China in somewhere between 18th to 25th September.
Since Apple doesn't follow the suit of launching their devices in China as soon as they launch their device internationally, Gizbot believes that the main launch will take place sooner. In fact there's already a rumour that Apple is planning to launch their device on the 9th of September. Hence this new leak is in line with the previous ones.
The official further emphasizes the fact that the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus will indeed come with Force Touch implementation. But the biggest question that still remains is that - Will this be the first phone to launch with a Force Touch display? So far it is reported that ZTE Axon Mini and Huawei Mate S will be sporting this new Force Touch technology - and all three will launched during the IFA!
The China Telecom official though reported that he is yet to hear anything regarding the Rose Gold/Pink version of the device that was leaked a few days back.
Nevertheless he added that Apple will be bumping up the RAM in the iPhone 6S to 2GB from the existing 1GB. He also mentioned that the device will be sporting an improved camera.
Tech analysts at Gizbot believe that Cupertino giant might be finally increasing the Megapixel count from 8MP to 12MP. According to the official the devices will be running on the company's latest gen A9 SoC - this was kind of expected though!
There's still no word regarding the upcoming iPhone 6c and the 12.9 inch iPad Pro. Both these devices were tipped to be launched alongside the iPhone 6s. But going by the lack of leaks, analysts believe that the devices might not materialize in the unveiling event schedule on the 9th!
