    For uninitiated, the Cupertino giant Apple is ought to release its iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus this month at an event! As per the new report, the upcoming iPhone will come with 256GB storage option.

    As per the Digitimes, " NAND flash vendors have increased chip prices citing strong demand for new smartphones particularly the iPhone 7 featuring up to 256GB of storage, according to industry sources. Prices will keep soaring until the fourth quarter of 2016."

    Previously, a report came saying that the Apple may scrap the 16GB variant, keeping the 32GB as the base variant of iPhone 7. The rumored iPhone 7 is believed to come with upgraded specifications and boast an array of interesting specifications.

    Talking about the specifications, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will come with an A10 chip, an iOS 10 operating system, a 3GB RAM, a camera with OIS and a lightning jack in place of the 3.5mm headphone jack.

    In terms of storage, the upcoming iPhone 7 will come in 32GB, 64GB, 256GB, while the iPhone 7 Plus is expected to come in storage options including 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The company is expected to launch the next-gen iPhone on September 7.
