Apple iPhone SE, iPhone 6, and iPad now available at discounted prices
Consumers are getting a cashback of Rs. 10,000 on Apple iPad variants and Rs. 7,000 on select Apple iPhone variants.
Apple iPad and iPhones have just become a bit cheaper now and select models of the devices can be purchased at a lower price than their original retailing price. As such, HDFC Bank has now reportedly partnered with the Cupertino based company and together they are offering extensive cashback offers on several iPhone and iPad devices in India.
As per Gadgets 360's report, consumers are getting a cashback of Rs. 10,000 on iPad variants and Rs. 7,000 on select iPhone variants. The offer will be applicable on EMI transactions done with HDFC Bank debit and credit cards. As for the validity, the offer is going live today, February 9 and will be up until February 14.
While it sounds interesting, Apple iPad 9.7-inch, 32GB, and Wi-Fi-only variant will be available at a price of Rs. 15,000. The device was originally retailing at Rs. 25,000. Additionally, all other iPad models which are currently available in India will get the same cashback of Rs. 10,000.
Coming to the iPhone models, Apple iPhone SE, as well as the iPhone 6, is getting cash back of Rs. 7,000. To break it down, Apple iPhone SE (32GB variant) will be available at an effective price of Rs. 15,000 from its original price of Rs. 22,000. As for Apple iPhone 6, the smartphone will be available at an effective price of Rs. 20,000. This handset was originally retailing at Rs. 27,000.
However, the report also states that some retailers could offer the devices at MOP and some at MRP. Talking about the MRP, iPhone 6 is priced at Rs. 31,900 while the iPhone SE is priced at Rs. 26,000. As for iPad 9.7-inch (32GB, Wi-Fi only), its MRP is Rs. 28,000.
Meanwhile, HDFC Bank had also announced it partnership with Apple previously and at the time the company was offering a cashback of up to Rs. 12,000 on several iPhone models like the iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, amongst others. Interestingly, this offer is currently live and has a long validity until March 11 to be precise across offline retailers.
Furthermore, the report states that all the variants in the offer, except for Apple iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, and iPhone 6s Plus, will carry interests depending on the EMI period.
