Apple iPhone X now available at a discount of Rs. 20,000: But there's a catch

Customers can trade in their old smartphones with a new iPhone X and get Rs. 20,000 off on its retailing price.

Apple iPhone X continues to be one of the best flagships around, even almost six months after the launch. The 10th anniversary model of iPhones come with some never-seen-before features like edge-to-edge display, 3D Face ID, TrueDepth camera and more. While all these sound great, not many of us have the means to buy a Rs. 1 lakh smartphone.

Well, that doesn't mean you have to lose hope. Various e-commerce sites in partnership with banks often give attractive discounts, cashbacks and exchange offers on the iPhone X. Even renowned offline retail stores sometimes come up with major discounts for Apple products. As such, Sangeetha Mobiles recently offered up to 50 percent discount of iPhones.

Now, we have some good news for ICICI Bank credit card holders. If you have an ICICI Band credit card, you are entitled to get a cashback of Rs. 10,000 and free screen replacement for the period of 6 months on the purchase of iPhone X.

In addition to this, the company is also providing a buyback offer of minimum Rs. 20,000 on your old smartphones. This means, you can trade in your old handset with a new iPhone X and get Rs. 20,000 off on its retailing price.

However, Rs. 20,000 buyback offer is only available on exchange of select smartphones which include the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy S8, Samsung Galaxy S8+, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and others.

What's more, if a customer gets more than Rs. 20,000 under the buyback offer, he/she will get an additional discount of Rs. 7,000. Do note that the aforementioned offers are valid at Apple Premium Resellers and other select stores.

Just to recall, the iPhone X is the first iPhone to feature a OLED screen with HDR10 support and Dolby Vision. The device is equipped with a Super Retina edge-to-edge 5.8-inch display with the screen resolution of 2,436×1,125 pixels resolution.

The iPhone X comes with an all glass body and runs on iOS 11. It comes equipped with Apple's own A11 Bionic chipset. The imagery department of the device includes a 12MP+12MP rear camera setup and a 7MP front camera for selfies. The phone comes in two storage options; 64GB and 256GB.
